I dream of different people

Hey, some fan art concepts! How do you like me now? (Just be glad it’s not fan fiction!)

What you see here is a series of images based upon Robert Jordan’s Myrddraal concept from the Wheel of Time series. For myself, personally, I’m not completely satisfied with what’s out there now (especially in the graphic novel). To me the designs aren’t feral enough. Don’t get me wrong, the people who’ve worked on the graphic novels can school me any day.

They’re still too human, however … I mean, so much more could have been done with them … And perhaps it was done; after all it’s up to the powers that be to decide what is and what isn’t. Take the Kaleesh for instance (from Star Wars); the fan art is so much more than the official design. 

Anyways …

As we all know, the Myrddraal are the offspring of Trollocs. Even though they look human, they’re not human. My goal was to make something more streamlined. I imagine the Myrddraal having longer skulls, small tails, and pointed teeth set in dark purple gums (they’re teeth have a blue tint by the way). 

You can pretty much imagine the rest …

Now thank God (or your mother) that they’ll never exist!

P.S: I’m not saying I can do this better than anyone else. Someone needs to start though; now let’s see who finishes!
